In the fifth week of CAL-I we were considered underdogs against a strong team of ^rS on the long range map of Mountain Ambush. Starting out on Ambush side were were able to take all 7 rounds with a tight defense of B hill. There were pushes all over the map but most of the fighting took place at C hill as rS probed for weaknesses. But with strong performances coming from Donmai and Wh!z we were able to head into the half with a strong psychological advantage on the easier side.
Switching over to Escort side Donmai mistakenly had the VIP position for the first round and we almost made it with a push up to The B objective. But rS managed to subdue our pushes and took the round. They held up solid defense positions for the next few rounds until we were able to breach them in the 11th round. With Sani leading the way on escort haunter was able to survive long enough as the VIP to get the needed 8th round for the win. In the remaining rounds rS shored up their defense and picked us off to make the final score 8-6 in our favor.
