America's Army: CEVO Brings on America's Army

By: Matt Wuthrich - Published June 19, 2007 at 2:09 AM EDT - Writer Archive
CEVO, LLC (www.cevo.com) is proud to announce America’s Army as the first of several new game additions.
With the onset of summer comes an interesting new venue for America's Army competition. This is in the form of CEVO, or CyberEvolution, the premier pay-to-play league for online gaming. NationVoice Communications will be sponsoring the professional event. This, coupled with their anti cheat system, CMN3, should attract top teams and establish CEVO as the choice pay-to-play league for competitive America's Army.

Sponsored by NationVoice Communications (www.nationvoice.com), the inaugural season of America’s Army will feature $4,000 in cash and prizes split between a Professional division and an Amateur division. The event will be open to residents of both the USA and Canada.

All match play will be protected by the CEVO Match Network (CMN), the most advanced and effective cheat-detection client in use for league play today. CMN has already been tested against and successfully detected America’s Army cheats, and additional CMN testing will continue over the next several weeks. The CMN will ensure the most digitally secure event the America’s Army community has ever experienced.

Registration for Season One is now open! Sign up today via your account control panel (join a team or create your own). For help getting started, visit: http://www.cevo.com/?page=gettingstarted

Registration fees are $15 per person (Paypal & credit cards accepted). We suggest you have at least one extra person on your roster, as backups will be expected to play unless circumstances warrant a reschedule. Additional information on specific rules and policies will be posted in the coming days.

For your $15 you will enjoy eight weeks of match play, protection by the CMN cheat detection client, automatic makeup matches for forfeit wins, the most thorough dispute review procedure among any league anywhere, exceptional customer service, and more!

CEVO will be hosting a sixteen team placement tournament to fill out the Professional Division of AA Season One. SIX (6) teams will be advanced into Pro from the placement tournament to join the three teams already selected.

Teams wishing to participate in the placement tournament should create a team in Amateur and get a minimum of five players paid and ready on their rosters and then email mwuthrich@cevo.com, indicating your desire to play in the tournament. More information on the placement tournament, including the procedure CEVO will use to select the tournament teams, will be posted in the coming days.
