A group of hackers have gotten their hands on an old forum database from the aadrama forums, and stole a number of accounts and passwords from players who frequent the site. ![]() Thursday night the the immensely popular drama forums owned and operated by karnifex were compromised. The database taken was of an older build of the forums, taken somewhere around December of last year, and once given over to a number of Area 51 Gaming members, was used to hack team websites. Among the likes of Redemption, IceNine, and Instruments of God, the Just Cause Project's site was hit the worst with a large amount of private and personal information being leaked to the hackers claims sTan of jCp. We originally found out about this by the hackers calling a few of the IoG player's phones, and pretending to be old members to try to get passwords changes, the claim to be GunHavoK has been the best and more humorous so far. However, once the hackers were in the website, they proceeded to search for cell phone numbers, contact lists, game play tweaks, and sensitive forum posts but were very saddened to find nothing but a few phone numbers and the odd post about inactivity on the IoG site. The original point he states was to try and sully the reputation of Redemption's Quick, posting a false confession about a past CAL & TWL ban. When the hacker then called Just Cause Project's Stan on the phone, they issued a number of vulgar threats and jCp sTan is reported to be rounding up a group of college friends, and on his way down to Florida as we speak. I won't even bother trying to pin an alias to the hacker, as it seems to change every other day, but the majority of the community has come to know him by his real name, Brett Wilkie, who has already at the age of 20 been arrested on Armed Residential Burglary in his home state of Florida. In conclusion, despite the phone numbers, passwords and top secret strats leaked out, the whole deal was extremely funny. The best quote of the night which I forgot in the original post was hilikus questioning stK on vent, and when stK claim'd he wasn't the original database thief, hili yelled; "but you didn't say stop, that's like watching someone shoot someone!" The drama forums have been temporarily suspended and locked, while the community news section is available to members and posts. Check the following page for an announcements and responds by Karnifex located on the drama site about the situation. Page:
