Collapsed Tunnel is a competition favorite, which has been the mainstay of low round time match play for multiple seasons. The map, while speedy, is small with a heavy dependence on flash bangs and not to popular in the pub server scene. With this new information out it's safe to say IceNine's (1-5) chances of making the playoffs are slim indeed, with Slow Reaction sitting at 3-3 they offer i9 the most hope in trying to grab that last playoff spot. The sad thing is even if sR loses all three of their next matches, they will still receive a bye win in week eight making them four wins to i9's possible five, if they by some miracle win out the season. This is all speculation, and as we have seen with teams dropping left and right anything can happen, as things begin winding down in the TWL's Invite S11. Last week we saw two equally close games between Slow Reaction, overRated, and Mediocrity, IceNine. The map was an outdoor classic, but it's safe to say the map isn't practiced or played much these days so it was a good change of pases for those still in TWL. Both matches ended in 7-5 scores with overRated and Mediocrity squeaking by with the wins. Cover 3 received a bye against the dropped out Redemption and since coming into the invite division late to replace Enervate Gaming, they have taken no prisoners going 4-1. The match of the week is easily Mediocrity (5-1) vs overRated (4-2) and the outcome of this map will either secure their lead and first place seed into the playoffs, or should Mediocrity fall this time, even up the two teams in the standings.
