Our last update was back at the beginning of August and since then a lot of events have taken place. CEVO is half way through the season, TWL's season is nearing the end, and CAL is almost done as well. This combined with events such as Summer CPL and AGC gave everyone a lot to consider picking their top ten. ![]() [CANNOT DISPLAY TABLE] Just Outside: Ataxia, Going Live This was as close as it gets for first place. overRated edged out Just Cause Project by just 6 points. They definitely had the edge in FPV with 16, as compared to jCp's 11 FPV. Will jCp muster up enough wins, and enough votes by next time to take over oR's throne? Only time will tell. Even more amazing was how close the points were between Cover 3 and Slow Reaction. Cover 3 edged them out by 1 whole point. Yikes! Even though sR beat Cover 3 in both recent matches, c3 has won all their other important matches, including 2 wins against overRated. Picking between these 2 teams at this point is pretty much a coin flip! For c3 this was a jump in the ranks of 4 spots, which was the most of any team. The next dogfight was for 5th place. IceNine barely edged out Instruments of God and Mediocrity for the 5th overall position in the rankings. Although IceNine hasn't produced great results over the past month, it seems the recent struggles of Mediocrity and iog's inability to get rolling outweighed this in people's minds when picking their top 10. Mediocrity's fall to 7th place was a drop of 3 spots, they will need to muster up some wins in CEVO-P if they want to start rising in the standings again. Redemption also fell 3 spots in the standings, and after inheriting rainmaker it seems they are losing 2 of their stars in Mechy & Rabb. They'll need to solidify their roster again, or have their backup players prove themselves if they are to remain in the top 10. Next in line is iNNovation, who remained in 9th place. I don't have all the details, but I've heard they may be folding again, or at least they are kinda inactive at the moment. Rounding out the Top 10 is the infamous Audigy squad. With Jonny leaving their roster, this team was on the brink of extinction, but slick and the boys decided against it and are going to take a run at the CAL-m and CEVO-a championships. Summary We have seen quite a bit of movement in the top 10 this time around, and with TWL Invite playoffs around the corner, and CEVO Professional half way through the season there could be some more interesting developments before the next list is made. Organizations Ataxia, Area 51, Army Gaming Championship (AGC), Audigy, Agnostic Onslaught, Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL), Cover 3, Cyber Evolution (CEVO), Dropouts, Final Destination, Going Live, Gotfrag, Innovation, Instruments of God, IceNine Gaming, Just Cause Project, Mediocrity, Minus Gaming, Nexus, overRated, Prefire, Slow Reaction, Redemption, Teamwarfare (TWL), Thanatos, The Projects, Unreasonable Ownage, unRestricted, Volatilis Infensus.
