In 11th & 12th we have Dropouts followed by Ataxia, both these teams participated in CAL Invites this season and struggled mightily. Dropouts lost 4 consecutive league matches by double digit rounds, but picked it up by winning 3 of their last 4 to save face a little. Ataxia has been shutout in CAL-i thus far, but they are at least competitive. Team unRestricted has been the most impressive surprise at the mid level, winning all their CAL-m matches including upset over Unknown Factor, Fight Club and Notorious Gaming. This success has led to a quantum leap of 13 spots. Another impressive mid-tier team is Unreasonable Ownage who dropped off this list a while back, but are back with a vengeance! With a stellar 7-2 league match record, including upsets over vI, fc & uF, they are a well deserving 14th rank team. Falling one spot to 15th is Notorious Gaming. Only winning 3 of their 9 quality matches, nG is having trouble making the next step towards being a top echelon team. They could have dropped down even more, as the rankings between 15-22 were extremely close and will likely see a lot of movement by next time.

FightClub had a promising start to the CAL-m season, but have since dropped 3 straight matches and are becoming less and less interested. They still won enough quality matches to move up 4 spots in the ranks, but could easily fall right back down unless they pick up their game again. In 17th is Unknown Factor who started CAL-m 0-4, but seem to be heading back in the right direction after beating 2n and vI the past 2 weeks. Conviction moved up a few spots to #18 thanks to their 6-0 CAL-o record. Nobody has been able to beat them in open, but they did have 3 close matches. They will have tougher competition to face in TWL-im for the next little while so it'll give them a chance to keep moving up the ranks. In 19th place is goingLive who were looking like a top 10 clan a month and a half ago. Losers of 7 straight matches gL aren't the same team that beat jCp and med not so long ago. I'm not sure what direction this professional gaming squadron will be going in future competition. Closing out the top 20 is epiC. epiC has been very inconsistent lately which kinda goes hand in hand with their activity level. Their CAL Main record is pretty awful at 1-4-1, but you just never know when their care-cups are full or empty.

The next 3 teams took really big falls on the toplist. In 21st place we have Knights of the Round Table. On any given night this team will play terrible or play really well. Their struggle to come up with wins in tight league matches as of late was the cause of them dropping 8 spots. Volatilis Infensus match performances as of late have just been awful. Lack of activity and lack of interest has led to some devastating results. vI only managed 1 win of their last 6 quality matches which were mostly against middle tier teams. A drop of 13 spots is very painful, but if they can gain back the interest in AA they could move back to the middle of the pack again. That's Dope also dropped a half-dozen positions, but that was simply because they aren't participating in CAL or CEVO so no league matches means you drop down a bit. At the rank of my favorite number TWO-FOUR, is Ice Cold Gaming, geez Ice Cold just makes me think more of beer. mmmmm beeeeeeeeeeeer (with a Homer voice followed by a giggle). Anyways, ic3 won most of their CAL Open matches except against the only good team they faced -> Conviction who they lost to 8-6. Basically they haven't done much and just moved up 1 spot. The last team to crack the top 25 is none other than Fragweiser, crap another clan that makes me think of beer lol. Fragweiser haven't exactly accomplished anything to get here other than an upset wins against the Knights in CAL-o. They'll have to be successful in the CAL-o playoffs to move up any more from here, good luck.

There's your summary of a another BAD LIST, now have fun and flame away. I know the top 5 will be highly scrutinized, but we'll see who finishes out CAL Invites and CEVO Pro strong to make a push for the top couple of spots in the rankings. Hopefully I'll do the list again once CAL & CEVO are over like I already mentioned, I probably will since I'm such a STAT WHORE!

Ranking Methodology

These rankings are based on matches from Nov 1st 2007, to Jan 17th 2008. Most important is quality wins against teams ranked above you (at that time) and bad losses to teams ranked below you (or unranked). League matches count towards your wins/losses and Ladder matches are now just bonus material. FFL are forfeit losses (no shows) and have much less effect on your score than regular losses, unless it was a FFL in the playoffs then it counts like a regular loss. Forfeit wins count as a win, but zero RW/RL, plus they don’t count as quality wins or upset wins.

These rankings cover the 4v4 TWL League, 4v4 CAL League & 4v4 CEVO League. There was once again tons of results to go through and analyze. So, if you are not on this list and think you should be, well all you have to do is join these leagues and beat the teams that are on the list.

W-L-FFL Wins-Losses-FF Losses
RW-RL Rounds Won - Rounds Lost
QM Quality Matches (matches against teams in the last top 30)
QW Quality Wins (wins against teams in the last top 30)
UW Unexpected Wins (wins against teams ranked higher)
BL Bad Losses (losses to teams ranked lower or unranked)
