Look for more surprises this week as the 18 teams in TWL Intermediates face off on the very fast paced CQB map of Tunnel. -nerveDamage- vs IceNine Unknown: i9 is hot at the moment, and nD has hit 6 feet under. i9 gets FFW or 11-1 Chris: This match would have probably been 2nd in line for MOTW if nD didnt die, but things happen. i9 > nD FFW. Dropouts vs Focal (Unreasonable Ownage) Unknown: Dropouts is dropping in to this match after just getting put on the top 10 list. Expect Dropouts to control this match and be the victors. 9-3 Dropouts. Chris: Focal was looking good this off-season but have since taken it down quite a few nothces. Dropouts seem to be taking AA a bit more serious than previous seasons and have more skilled players than Focal. drp > focal 8-4. Fightclub vs The Knights of the Round Table Unknown: fc just doesn't get the chance to be as active as they wish and provide their strongest roster where as knights is looking not to pull a 1-9 from last season. Knights is actually playing stronger and well as of late, I'd give the slight edge to Knight's if fc doesn't put up their best 4. 7-5 Knights. Chris: Both teams have been around for a while but fc definitley has more skill than Knights. Knights start the season off 0-3. fc > Knights 7-5. Final Destination-M + Rainmaker vs Conviction Unknown: No opinion given, but I do love tunnel :D. Chris: I would normally go with fd (Redemption) here but not all the guys from their Invite roster are on the TWL roster. Conviction seems to be doing things right these past couple of months despite their struggles in CAL. Look for the defending Intermediate Champs to continue their season 3-0. coN > fd 7-5 in a close one. Fragweiser vs Rising Storm Unknown: rS is coming off a tough CEVO lost to jCp and a lost to i9 in cal. They are hunting blood and will throw a fit gaming wise and RISE A STORM! 10-2 rS, sorry fragweiser you are going to be a victim of rage! Chris: This could be a blowout if Jonny and his fellow warriors flashes arent off. rS > .!. 9-3 Lost Cause vs Defining Stars Unknown: The top brazilian team is not to shabby, but their pings kill them. With that said, 8-4 Lc. Chris: Lc is a pretty decent CQB team and they will be playing against Brazilians which will give them that low ping CQB advantage. Defining Stars players warping across their screen may give them some trouble but I think they can handle it. Lc > defs 8-4. Mug 'N Mouse vs overRated Unknown: oR didn't show up for their cal match last week on Mountain Ambush vs Mug N Mouse, so I'm not sure what's going on. I'll take mNm 7-5. Chris: This would probably be the best bet for a MOTW but there are no companies currently doing AA casts and oR doesnt do them anyway. oR is 2-0 against MNM on Tunnel in League/Match Play but both teams are plagued by inactivity. Not to mention MNM has a small TWL roster with only 4 active players. oR > MNM in a close one 7-5 (If they show up). Team Zeratul (iNno) vs PoKeMoN!!! Unknown: If Team Zeratul shows up with 4, they take this 8-4. Chris: Zeratul seems to be doing things right with his team but im not sure if he went inactive again. I dont even know who PoKeMoN are so I am going with Team Zeratul 9-3. That's Dope vs Slow Reaction Unknown: Slow Reaction is ironic because they actually have fast reflexes to play this cqb map! 10-2 sR. Chris: tD has been around for quite some time now in the Intermediate League and sR has been around for quite some time now in general. I havent heard much from out about Slow Reaction lately but I know they are participating in this seasons Intermediate Division and are currently 2-0. Look for them to make it 3-0 this week. sR > tD 9-3. Good luck to everyone and most of all, have some fun..it's a game! |
