America's Army: Chicago LAN Pregame Coverage

By: Shawn Stanley - Published July 17, 2008 at 4:43 PM EDT - Writer Archive
The Chicago LAN announced several months back has made considerable progress in the past few weeks. The Chicago LAN staff would like to give a big shoutout to it's sponsors; SteelSeries, DarkStar Communications, Network Hardware Resale, E-Rev.tv, CyberBawx, Operation Gaming and the Double Tree Hotel in Oak Brooke, IL.
The LAN is about to get underway in what may possibly be the largest and most competitive LAN that the Americas Army scene has yet to see. GotFrag's Dave "Mr.Clean" Munro and Shawn "shawn" Stanley will be there to give updates, blogs, pictures, video, scores, matches and anything else that we could possibly think of. Stay tuned to GotFrag this weekend to keep tabs on the teams attending the event. Electronics Revolution will be providing video coverage of matches and out of game broadcasting, so stay tuned to www.e-rev.tv.

Matches tomorrow will start around 6:00pm EST in group play. Each team will play a total of 3 matches on friday evening and then advance into bracket play the following day. Various other events may occur throughout the event and we will try to bring as much coverage to those as possible.
