America's Army: Former Zenith players find an epiC home

By: Nicholas Huber - Published October 15, 2008 at 2:21 AM EDT - Writer Archive
Two former Zenith players and an a previous player for No Hesitation have found their new home with epiC merely hours after their former team decided to part ways after their first match ended with both a tie and a major argument.

Michael "misery" Lindow, Charles "shyne" Blakeley, and Tom "Krypto" Marrone have all slapped on the epiC tags and will be stepping it up a notch in CAL's Invite division.

Shyne and Krypto are former players for Zenith, a CAL-M / TWL-I team, which died after their first match in competition ended in a tie and an argument between two players over the possibility of going into an overtime round.

Misery previously played for No Hesitation, a team that died a few months ago due to inactivity.

"I wanted to join epiC because I saw the potential. They just need someone with experience to show them things help out with strats, so me, Krypto, and shyne, decided to come over," said misery in an Xfire conversation I had with him early tonight.

I don't want CAL to die. If CAL-I is going to be full of CAL-O players, then nobody is going to want to play.

Misery also mentioned the fact that epiC will probably be adding a B squad to their team, which would allow their recent recruits from Above Average to compete in CAL's Open division.

epiC's current Invite roster consists of:

United States Blu1ce20
United States Tactics
United States Log!k
United States Sandman
United States Krypto
United States misery
United States shyne
United States Entyce
United States blood
