Patrick "CyberNinja" Movrich: I think the teaser video that AACM cleverly released is terrific. The new Pipeline looks good with one exception is that they did not put the mirrors back in the bathroom. That was a old favorite of many. Also, I'm curious if they placed the yeti back in that map. I'll check out [America's Army 3.0], once they released it. I've spent many meetings about 3.0. So I'm curious what the product will be like. Nic "Karmakaze" Huber: The new screenshots of Pipeline are an amazing improvement of the current 2.x.x version of Pipeline. They have added more objects in a lot of spots, specifically between Assault spawn point and Main entrance. With the current version, if the Defense rushes outside of Main, you have to hope that you can shoot better than they can. With the improvements in 3.0, you'll have more cover than you normally would. In the gist of things, it's a great improvement and I can't wait to play! Elijah "Legit" Rao: I think [the screenshots] are a big improvement. These new screenshots show us how the Developers are trying to even the playing field. There are some new spots for Assault to go. Plus some of the angles have changed, with the addition of some new pipes and a change in how the Main Pump Room walkway levels are and how to Main CP is closer to the window for instance. I cant wait for 3.0, but my expectations are high for it. I hope the DEVs can deliver us with a less buggy game and more even playing fields on some maps. Steven "casieuM" Andrews: The pictures of the new Pipeline look pretty good, but to be honest the gameplay is more important, so I cant really comment until I actually play it. The DEVs seem to be doing a good job graphics wise but at the end of the day the gameplay is way more important and im not so sure AA3 will be a good competition game. Then again, the DEVs have brought some new patches out lately which have sped the game up, so I suppose we are just going to have to wait and see. Richard "CPL-R.Reilly" Reilly: What I saw was very COD4-like. It should bring new life to the game, but like usual, there will be 4-5 updates in the first few months. Noah "Substance" Ballard: The screenshots look good to me as long as the maps aren't FPS insensitive. That's the main problem that they need to pay attention to, but overall, it looks good. Randall "Mulgarus" Gruber: They look good to me, but they may put a damper on players without updated video cards considering they look FPS intense. Kevin "banana_gun" Lowe: I think by just looking at the screen shots, it looks really good. Hopefully the layout is the same and they didn't add or take away anything. The few changes that you could see (random pipes and a few shacks outside) wouldn't seem to hinder much when it would come to matches. Page:
