On the Sheffield stop of CPL's World Tour, there will be a $3,000 Battlefield 2 tournament. Game Frontier announced on the 24th that they added a Battlefield 2 tournament to their list. The addition comes with support from Nvidia in that the PCs used to play in the tournament are built by Nvidia and contain their newest GeForce 7800 GT graphics cards. A day later, they changed the format from a 10v10 style to the more popular 8v8. The tournament will start the second day of the event at 10 AM and consist of fourteen rounds. So far four teams have signed up for the tournament, most notably Team Dignitas.
