Eazy5 gets banned

Eazy5 was banned yesterday from the well known CAL-League. The CAL-Main participants fielded a notorious cheater in a recent match, using the PB-guid of a member of their team (aka 'smurfing').

CAL BF2 Staff didn't hesitate to make a strong stand against cheating in whatever form or shape possible, as can be read here:

The following players/team have been suspended from CAL:

TheBestLoser:
Reentering the League for the 2nd time, cheating in a non BF2 Game, and ringing in a CSS Match
Suspension until March 1st, 2008

AntiLyfe:
Reentering the League for the 2nd time, cheating in a non BF2 Game, and ringing in a CSS Match
Suspension until March 1st, 2008

Leaders (SSGWright & Zen):
Allowing AntiLife (iLLz) to play in a BF2 8v8 Main Playoff match under TheBestLooser’s CD Key, then once the server logs and information was requested for an “unknown reason” the logs were then doctored.
Suspension until March 1st, 2007

Team Eazy5 (Ez5):
Allowing AntiLife (iLLz) to play in a BF2 8v8 Main Playoff match under TheBestLooser’s CD Key, then once the server logs and information was requested for an “unknown reason” the logs were then doctored.
Suspension until March 1st, 2007

Crucial will now be the winners of this match by forfeit, Crucial moves up to the upper bracket and plays [HOT] in the next round. Warchild will recieve a bye for this round and move by default to the lower bracket finals to play the winner of Version 2.0 & 20ID

The following information will be submitted to Team Warfare League and the Battlefield 2 World Tournament.

CAL BF2 Staff

Following this statement, Eazy5 got removed from the current CAL-M tournament. The information was also supplied to the organisation of the reputated World Tournament. They didn't hesitate either to remove Eazy5 from the tournament.

UPDATE: the HTGN-competition has also removed Eazy5.
