Xfire will hold a European Battlefield 2 online event from 18:00 to 23:00 CET on Wednesday July 12th. The event will feature 2 hours of public play and 2 hours of private pick up games followed by a final hour in the new maps and vehicles of Battlefield 2: Armored Fury.

Top Battlefield 2 teams from all over Europe, including the official EA World Tournament World Champions Code7 from Scandinavia, as well top Euro team Team Dignitas (Germany), ping of death (Germany), plan-B (Austria) and aAa (France), will be taking part in the event, allowing casual and hardcore Battlefield 2 gamers to test their skills with and against the best teams in the world.
