2 months ago i had some crapy headset,so i couldnt hear footsteps in cod4 at all (i mean i could hear them loudly, but i couldnt tell from where is the enemy going, like from left or right,so the sound was like the enemy was always walking in front of me)sooo after many reviews etc. i decided tu buy a SteelSound 4H headset,so now i have this headset on my head, and im pretty happy with it BUT i still have a problem with those footsteps...now i can hear footsteps better but STILL i cant PROPERLY tell my teammates is the enemy going to the left or to the right..i dont know whats the problem, but i still cant hear the footsteps like my clan mates with 10$ headsets do :( (my headset cost 70$) so I figured that my hardware has to something with it...i think that my onboard sound card in Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard ddoes the thing,so i figured that if i buy a new sound card the abillity to hear footsteps would be 100%,so now,pls recommend me a good soun card, not very expensive 30-70$ thx in advance
Yes, its a good soundcard. I installed mine on saturday and was very pleased with result. You will most definately hear an improvement in sound if you are currently using onboard.
