Anyone use HLSW to search?

Hey all,

wondering if any of you use HLSW (http://www.hlsw.de/) to search for COD 4 servers?

I find the in-game search browser to be lacking and im looking for better alternatives. If you use an external browser please share your experiences.

not an advert, jus wondering if people use this since i heard its used to other games. or if they do use a browser which one do they use?

The xfire browser does a pretty good job, but I never use it. I normally just follow someone else into servers, since I rarely bother playing on my own these days.

#7 yea i jus tried the HLSW and i think its too complicated and not worth using.

I guess ill stick to the xfire browser lol

I thought it was complicated at first, just get used to it, once you do its great. :).

i use it to connect + store favourites for cod4 + UT99. it's also good if u wanna start cod up with some command, because u can set it in the options.

OT: no, i do not use hlsw to find servers.

same for #2,7,10 etc.
Only use it to store favs, or restarting private srv/load other map so i dont have to load 2 maps ingame ;D

No i dont use it for search, what someone mentioned, just use xfire search.

There's no point in having a server broswer really, just use http://competitive.rebornservers.com/ to find decent pub servers ;)

Add them to HLSW, see which have players on and play.

Perks can be pretty fun, such as the grenade launcher on ambush straight off the spawn :D Time it right and you get like 7 kills straight away. Claymores annoy the hell out of me though, and P90s, and barretts, and idiots sitting in dark corners with heavys, and so on...
