cod2 isn't gonna go anywhere. it didn't before it's not going to now. all that has been done now is the community is divided, half the people play cod5 and half cod 2. The only way to get support from the developers is to play the most recent game they released.
Who said anything about space CoD? That's an assumption. And CoD5 is shit, it's not going anywhere competitively so it really doesn't matter if the community is divided between those 2, CoD4 still has the biggest user base.
COD4 is the most SHITtiest game of COD series. Bullets penetrating from a 'super' thick wall is the most stupid thing I ever saw. Same thing goes for sprinting ^^
cod4 is out of the question. and going back to cod2 isn't what we need. CoD2 failed once it's not gonna make some big come back. it's gotta be either cod5 or source. i'll be playing source and WAR untill they make cod5 playable
Play what the F u wanna play man. If there's no "competitive scene" Activision etc. with not make any money from PC gamers and will quit making COD for PC and end this circus of a once epic franchise.

i am currently playing cod5 and cod2 and i think that cod4 is the best for the competitive side for COD, cod5 can maybe make some CTF leagues (not SD) cod2 is still decent for SD and i wouldn't be surprised to see it come back, but all in all cod4 really kicks cod2 and 5
The people who want to play cod 2 dont and wont play cod 4...they want to play a game they have fun playing in a competitive atmosphere with their friends. CoD 4 was fun for about a season then got old fast and no new mod or change in weapon recoil is going to change the fact that the game is boring unless your at a LAN or something.
To be honest, I feel that cod2 died for the most part because cod4 was announced and released. I think that many people had the attitude that ''cod4 is coming out, why bother continuing cod2 i will just wait to get cod4'' type of attitude. CoD2 has over 2 million more, CoD4 has 4 million more.
So since it's fairly obvious CoD5 is already dying, I suggest you fools choose CoD2 or CoD4, because CoD5 won't be around long.
