I've been watching a few pro demos, and of course you see everyone cutting their reload time by hitting change weapon twice, but I've also noticed that everyone seems to hit the change weapon key twice constantly, not just when reloading. Why is that?

Thanks in advance.

thanks for that, now i've got a couple more questions...what it hitscan detection? lol, yeah I'm a noob, also, does that basically mean that if I fire just after doing the "double switch", I will experience a noticeable difference to hitscan detection that would improve my game?

Finally, how on earth did anyone find out that gave better hitscan detection, and can it be proven?

Thanks.

just something to do to keep your fingers warmed up

like quickswitching in cs or spamming waypoints in w3/sc

that seems more feasible than number 2's explanation

Well, I suppose it comes from cod1, aka BAR reload skill...

#4 is right when saying - it's cool
#6 is right when saying, it warms up your fingers and attention in a way, you keep yourself in cycle all the time, "on alert", AKA YOU KEEPZ CHARGIN UR LAZORR in case you need to SHOOOOP DA WOOP

It also sometimes works as a way to check how many bullets you have in another gun you're carrying, but if you dont want to make a sound while changing the gun, you just flash it several times, and you know whats what.

So, now, Sir, DOES THAT answer the depths of your groundshakingly important question ?

#14 THRILinear is for when you just aren't getting enough excitement out of bilinear and anisontropic texture filtering.
