As a result of the SOTF tournament being disbanded, The community has asked me once again to produce, direct, and host an unofficial tournament for Call of Duty 2. The tournament will be held July 5-9, 2006. The tournament will be located in Grapevine, Texas at the Texas Gaylord Resort Hotel.

The tournament will be put on by the Call of Duty 2 community along with Eximius Sports staff. Eximius Sports will be hiring staff that will be at the event to help organize and run the remaining pieces of the tournament. If you are interested in helping or becoming staff, please get in contact with me, Brad Dick.

If you are a company interested in sponsoring this tournament with prizes or monetary donations. Please get in contact with me, Brad Dick or WSVG|Tonya. The generous donation that will be made will go into an escrow account. Currently the WSVG has told us that if a company(s) agrees to fund a tournament they will have negotiations for the possibility of full WSVG marketing benefits.

A website is development for registration. Please understand that you must be signed up for the BYOC to participate in the event. Currently there will be no other fees involved other than the $80 BYOC fee. You can find more information on the WSVG here at their website. http://www.thewsvg.com/ .
