Multiplay's iSeries LAN scheduled for November 9th announce a possible rule set and prize pot.

With the LAN just 2 weeks away Multiplay have announced a 1st place prize of £1,500 and a total pot of £3,000. The break down of the prize purse is shown below. This purse has no relation to the amount of teams signed up which makes a nice change from the last few CoD2 tournaments they have held.

Prize Fund

(confirmed)

1st Place

£1,500

2nd Place

£750

3rd Place

£500

4th Place

£250

Total Amount

£3,000

As well as announcing the prizes the CoD admin has also given me a POSSIBLE rule set that can be used with the aim of making it an easy transition from CoD2 to CoD4 as the players will only have a limited time to play the game before the tournament starts.

Max rounds 12 - Each team will play 12 rounds on each half

Each person will get 1 flashbang each round

Concussion grenades will be turned off

1 frag grenade per person each round

Cookable grenades will be turned off

1:45 or 2 min rounds after reviewing the maps

Sprint feature disabled unless maps require it

Auto sniper rifles (the ones in the demo) turned off

The heavy machine guns (SAW etc on the demo) turned off

The .50 cal sniper rifles also may be turned off depending on the damage

Perks are disabled so this removes air strikes and helicopters

Red dot radar is off

Hit blip is turned on unless wall banging becomes too much of and issue

Grenade indicator is enabled

Bomb clock timer is on

1 sniper and shotgun per side

Health regeneration is turned off

The admin had this to say on the rules they are currently debating using,

"I'm not sure on all the rules yet, basically what I've gone on is trying to make the transition from CoD2 to CoD4 as easy as possible just to help get people used to the game and hopefully make for a good first tournament"
