Call Of Duty: 4Kings add CoD4 squad

Top UK gaming team 4Kings have added Team CoolerMaster as their new Call of Duty 4 squad.
The news confirms recent speculation that 4Kings were looking to pick up a Call of Duty team and is a major boost for the scene ahead of the release of Call of Duty 4 next week. The new team features the core of the old eSource lineup but is bolstered by the addition of crow and wiz. Discounting his brief spell with Tek-9 over the Summer, this move represents crow's first team since he quit Serious-Gaming while Wiz's return also silences rumors that he would be joining with the new Reason squad.

4Kings only previous venture into the Call of Duty series was with a UK side in the original CoD which featured players such as pain, Creamy and Yilider and saw them represent Europe at the CPL. The UK based organization's decision to take on a new team, coupled with fnatic's stated intention to do the same, bodes well for Call of Duty 4's future. The game is set to be released next week and the new 4Kings squad's first competitive outing will be at i32 in Newbury, England where they will be competing for the $3,000 first prize.

The new 4Kings squad will line up as follows.

United Kingdom palmz
United Kingdom junior
United Kingdom corp
United Kingdom wiz
Ireland crow

4Kings manager Gavin Weeks announced the news on the 4K homepage.
"There has been some speculation within the community as to whether 4Kings would be digging its heels back into Call of Duty, well I can now answer with a profound yes. Having worked with 4 out of 5 of these guys at different times while I was at TmGamers I have 100% trust and faith in their ability to rise to the top and do Four Kings proud. I am very excited at watching their progress in the coming months and am looking forward to witnessing them play at i32 on the 9th November."

Liam "crow" Crowley also added a few words on behalf of the team.
"Representing a team like 4Kings is a great honour for us and we intend to do our best to live up to the great reputation they have earned worldwide. Going into Call of Duty 4 will be an interesting experience for everyone but we are confident we have the right players to pick up the new game fast and start strong. We are all 110% determined to succeed and thanks to the support from 4Kings, we have everything we need to do just that. Finally, I'd like to thank Gav, Ben and Toby on behalf of the team for all their hard work on this and hopefully we can do them proud."
