Dutch organisation Overload Gaming announces its entry into COD4 In the same week that H2k.Thermaltake announces it's entrance into the Call of Duty 4 scene, fellow Dutch organisation Overload Gaming have decided to follow suit. Overload Gaming, a team renowned for it's successfully Enemy Territory team, has decided to re-enter the Call of Duty gaming scene once again. With a line-up consisting predominantly of homegrown players, the Dutch scene is setting itself up to be an extremely competitive one. The team consists of many ex H2K members and other teams such as Flame-Instinct, myLegend and ctx-gaming. With the combination of well experienced players such as Jonas "mutuu" van der Zande who is well known for his time with Flame-Instinct and fresh and unknown talent such as Rody "dragz" de Graaf, there is a balance in this team which, if combined with dedication and practice, could lead to the new Overload Gaming COD4 team having a successful career. The team has also opted for a 6 man line-up bringing in Win "phantom" Wienen who is most famous for his times with Dfiance and Violence is Bad, as their sixth player. The team has opted for the non-conventional 6 man line-up, just as Speed-Link had before Nightwalker decided to retire, as a way to minimise the ever present problem of inactivity. The line-up stands as the following: Jonas "mutuu" van der Zande (Team leader) Jurjen "Cooper" Langerak Nick "creamz" Eijsink Bart "Oberto" Vegter Rody "dragz" de Graaf Win "phantom" WienenOverload Gaming released the following statement on their homepage: "With this experienced team we hope to achieve more success than our teams have been able to gain in the past, however playing in a new game is never an easy task and we hope the players will stick together and reach the top". |
