EYEBALLERS have announced the addition of Daniel "tidde" Asp following the news that Rickard "zEm" Intveld will be inactive for the first months of 2008. Daniel "tidde" Asp joins the team from the well known Day of Defeat: Source side Violence Is Bad and, with extensive experience in Call of Duty 2 as well, was deemed the number one choice for the EYEBALLERS. The Swedish side have enjoyed a great start to Call of Duty 4 but were struck last week with the news that Rickard "zEm" Intveld will be unable to play with the team for a period of two months due to an upcoming trip to Thailand. "We started searching the Swedish community for really good players and the choice was between tidde and one other player" Martin "mint" Röjder explains, "after a few matches and some talking with him we quickly understood he was the perfect pickup for us and he has come to fit in really well in the team". Röjder described Asp's current form as "amazing" and is adamant that "CoD4 fits him better then perhaps CoD2 did". "We tried him him out for a few praccs and was pleased to find that he was indeed a top class player and had no problems at all adjusting to Call of Duty 4" the team's manager, Robert Holmberg, also states. "As much as we are sad to see zEm step aside for a while, we are suprised and happy to see how good Tidde has managed to fill his spot" This latest switch leaves EYEBALLERS with the following roster, with Rickard "zEm" Intveld and Robin "riviEra" Holmén now inactive.
