Crossfire have announced the final tournament revisions for next year's Crossfire Devotii Challange 4. Increased sponsor support sees the CDC4 Call of Duty 4 prize purse boosted to a whopping $9,500 and space made available for an additional twenty teams. Scheduled for early March of next year, CDC4 is shaping up to be one of the major events for Call of Duty 4 in 2008, with a number of Europe's top teams, including EYE, Dignitas and Tek-9, already having confirmed their attendance. With spaces limited, teams wishing to attend are advised to sign up fast, with January 6th the closing date. Tournaments for Enemy Territory, ET: Quake Wars and Warsow are also set to be featured at the event, but Call of Duty 4 is clearly the big attraction, with the vast majority of the early signups. Tournament director Stuart "TosspoT" Saw announced the news in a statement on crossfire.nu. "CDC4 will be running the following adventurous tournament format for the event now just a little over 2 months away! We've a new sponsor that allows us to increase capacity significantly which will be announced in January, however the resulting logistics have cost us somewhat, hense a lower redistribution from the original outset." The final tournament revisions are detailed below. Call of Duty 4 - 40 Teams - 6500 Euro Enemy Territory - 12 Teams - 3000 Euro ET: Quake Wars - 12 Teams - 3000 Euro Warsow - 16 Players - 600 Euro More info on CDC4 can be found here |
