Call Of Duty: Roskilde announce Call of Duty 4 lineup

By: Liam Crowley - Published January 02, 2008 at 12:46 PM EST - Writer Archive
Following a period of inactivity after last year's Wonderbase LAN, Roskilde have returned to the Call of Duty scene with a new-look roster.
Former Copenhagen-eSport star Kenneth "fRiJeC" Jensen will again captain the side, lining up alongside a number of familiar faces from the Danish scene. Mik "Champ" Bødtker returns to activity and is joined by new addition Mads "Hmz" Lauridsen. "[We] tested a fair amount of new and old players, but finally we have found a solution we were satisfied with" explains Jensen. "The five main players haven't been selected yet, but it will be set over the next few weeks".

Roskilde-eSport has recently been recognized by the Danish government as an official sports club and, as such, has become eligible for new and increased funding. The Call of Duty 4 team are currently planning to attend both i33 and CDC4 and can be expected to appear at any future LAN events across Europe. To prepare for this, the team are planning an intensive bootcamp from the 11th to the 13th of January.

The new Roskilde Call of Duty 4 squad will line up as follows.

Denmark Kenneth "fRiJeC" Jensen
Denmark André "R3CoR" Jensen
Denmark Brian "woomzy" Bie
Denmark Lars-Michael "LM" Sydow
Denmark Mathias "adagio" Braun
Denmark Mads "Hmz" Lauridsen
Denmark Mik "Champ" Bødtker
