Call Of Duty: Gigafrag announce $2,600 West Coast LAN

Gigafrag.net have announced details of their upcoming Call of Duty 4 BYOC LAN event in Visalia, CA.
The event is scheduled for Saturday the 15th of March and will feature an impressive prize purse with $1,200 going to the winners. This is Gigafrag's first tournament to solely feature Call of Duty 4 and will be run using the CEVO ruleset and a fairly standard map list. Although no live coverage has yet been announced, it is believed that Gigafrag are in the process of arranging it.

The tournament is currently planned to feature sixteen teams but the organizers have made it clear that this is by no means a set limit. "16 teams is the goal but not what we are limiting it to" reads the official announcement. "We would love to have up to 24 teams and that would also raise the prize pot significantly". They did, however, also mention that if less than sixteen teams signed up the prizes would be adversely affected.
