"Well I guess the initial buzz of CoD4 has worn off, the randomness in the game has shone through and the ability to not kill people from across the map etc! I wanted to cut down the amount of time I spent playing as the game isn't fun enough for me to hardcore, not really gaming royalty material so I'm moving on." - Phill "palmz" Palmer, ex-player "Well I've been thinking about things a lot lately and have decided that for now I'm going to go inactive. There's a number of factors but the most important reason is that CDC is at a bad time for me during my university semester and I have been neglecting my studies a bit. It has been fun playing CoD4, but as of late the game has seemed really random and I have no motivation so it wouldn't make sense for me to keep playing like this. I might return in Easter, hopefully there will be a patch by then, but most likely you might only see me playing for fun in clanbase." - Lee "pain" Hannah, ex-player "Basically there was a complete conflict of interest and attitude towards CoD4 and its future and some other commitments, so Phill and Lee decided that they didn't want to play CoD4 any more. We'll be looking into options over next few days." - Sam "corp" Peoples, player "We have been made aware of some internal issues within the 4Kings Call of Duty 4 squad. We understand that the lineup did possess a large number of characters which inevitably conflicted. The conclusion is that we will be addressing the issues head on to decide the way forward" - Gavin Weeks, 4Kings manager "I came onto IRC tonight and found out two of our guys have decided to stop playing CoD4, one, apparently he wants to play again once his uni term is up, the other, decided to randomly quit because he believes CoD4 wont be a big game in the slightest. Obviously we are disappointed by these on the spot decisions and we wish everyone good luck in their future teams. As for skipz leaving? I've not been informed by anyone, but it wouldn't suprise me" - Ben Woodward, 4Kings manager Page:
