Team Turmoil has officially announced their acquisition of the former Frag’dominant team to represent them in Call of Duty 4. The group was with Frag`dom only briefly and is perhaps best remembered for its time as Coalition during the CEVO: Finish the Fight opening event. For all intents and purposes, this is an entirely new team as almost all of the coa lineup is no longer together. Turmoil began competing in the CoD community last August and is well known for its previous team finishing runner up in CEVO-Professional and TGL-Professional.

In keeping with their top competitive tradition, this new Turmoil incarnation is awaiting the start of CEVO-Professional and CAL-main. Having already played for Turmoil in the past, team member John “dirty_german” Richmond states: “I am happy to be back playing with Turmoil again. Just like I said the last time, I hope that our team will be successful and we will do everything we can to represent the organization well.” With CEVO-P and the Nerv LAN right around the corner, they certainly have their work cut out for them.

Team Turmoil General Manager, Elvis “Madman90” Shapiro, comments: “When Dirty-German approached me asking to become the next Turmoil CoD4 team, I was very weary of the decision but they showed me a constant basis that they have the capability to compete on a high level. I felt confident from my past experience of working with two of the players on the team that they will be able to put in the time and effort to practicing and being able to compete.” Shapiro then added: “I would like to also announce that Turmoil Gaming’s website is being released as well tomorrow night so come and check it out; we will be having a contest giveaway on Friday with the release of the website and more contests to come. I would like to give a big shout out to our sponsors http://bodybuilding.com, http://www.cybersnipa.com, www.thermaltakeusa.com, and http://www.velocity-servers.com.”

john is a wise man and also the consummate "spend all day in the server making prefires and peeks" type of NRd. They've got a long way to the top, but it's a bit unfair to guarantee they fail and die.

I don't see how this team can be allowed to participate in CEVO-P much less CAL-M. I only recognize one member from the team that competed in the CEVO-FTTF tournament which in my opinion constitutes a high-jack.

Some say I might be bitter because we lost to Coalition in said tournament. Truth be told, I am, we shouldn't have lost but we did so whatever. That being said, based on past precedent and rules that CEVO has established, they should start in Amateur like every other new team.

its just a shame dirty doesnt have good players with him, hes a good player and overall good guy, and i'll b surprised to see this team make it past the season without dying. turmoil is just the turmoil name and from knowledge handed down from other turmoil divisions their head "money sponsor" went to another org. just doesnt seem wise since the 1.6 team left due to bad funding, and their css team gone as well.. we'll see what transpires

#25 completely right and I've never seen a sponsor pick up a team with it showing only 4 players, but nice try to phalaer trying to get me to come back when he already had a little attitude earlier that afternoon just so they could play cevo-p and like prp said they need 3 originals. haha...oh well it was fun playing in cevo with the originals, but I have to say friZ is rly the only mature player. Everyone else bleeps all the time :)

I'm sure I'll have fun with the break that I'll be taking unless I find a decent team b4 soon :S
