Despite the decreased prize purse, Europe's top sides have, bar one, turned up in force for this season's ClanBase EuroCup. i33 champions Dignitas look to hold on to their winning streak while the likes of TLR, SK and TEK9 will be aiming to prove events in Newbury were a one-off for the UK side.

The opening week highlights include CoolerMaster versus SK and L3 versus Speedlink but the obvious match of the week sees Dignitas take on the Roskilde Ravens. The latter appear to be group stage specialists after their performances at i33 and CDC4 so Dignitas will certainly be on their toes and looking to avoid a slip-up versus the Danes.

The other favorites are presented with fairly straight-forward ties but, in a competition of this level, any complacency will undoubtedly be punished. EuroCup group matches will be played out over two maps, mp_vacant and mp_crash this week, with a MR12 format.
