The action came fast and furious in Week 1 with the likes of SK, Dignitas and MYM grabbing the early headlines. All three started strong with SK mauling TCM.eu in a controversial 25-3 thriller which was perhaps marred by a dispute over the use of the "sniperfix" but was impressive nonetheless. MYM beat Ancients with a commanding 25-9 scoreline but UK rivals Dignitas went one step better, taking down the upcoming Roskilde Ravens by the very same amount.

Upsets were of course to be expected and it was Group B that provided them this time. EXABYTE and eSuba - both ranked recently as top ten teams - were easily beaten by UF-Gaming and k1ck respectively. Both now face an uphill struggle to qualify and at least one of the highly-rated pair looks likely to be eliminated.

Week 2 throws up a number of interesting ties, with Group H providing perhaps the juiciest of the lot. LowLandLions take on Sample This, formerly known as MGL, while 4Kings look to get their campaign back on track versus the brand new Speedlink roster.
