Call Of Duty: palmz and Twist join VVV

Veni Vidi Vici present their new Call of Duty 4 roster, featuring a number of familiar faces.
Phill "palmz" Palmer, Adam "Twist" Cheshire, Peter "Pete" Cannon and Alex "oZ" Rainbird have been signed in a bid to see VVV compete with the UK's best over the Summer. New players were needed to fill the gaps left by the recently departed "Lance", "Lowery" and "Sam" but the calibre that VVV were able to bring in has come as a surprise to some.

Adam "Twist" Cheshire impressed as a stand-in for TEK9 at i33 while former Dignitas and 4Kings player Phill "palmz" Palmer returns from inactivity to join the side. "Our aim is eventually to be the best" Palmer told GotFrag. "We rejected a few bigger named players in the hope to keep motivation high and live long enough to be successful" he explained.

Matthew "Splatski" Carnaby admits the team had let the UK scene down in the past but was confident of success with their new lineup. "We believe having taken our time to pick and choose our players, that we have created a team of players that perform well together" Carnaby said. "This is why I am very pleased and excited to be attending the summer events with this new look VVV".

The new VVV Call of Duty 4 squad will line up as follows.

United Kingdom Matthew "Splatski" Carnaby
United Kingdom Richard "Messiah" Bailey
United Kingdom Peter "Pete" Cannon
United Kingdom Adam "Twist" Cheshire
United Kingdom Phill "palmz" Palmer
United Kingdom Alex "oZ" Rainbird
