teamxeq have impressed in recent months in both the EuroCup and the CoDQCup, grabbing the attention of one of Finland's premier teams with wins over the likes of H2k.Qpad and Clan FurY. CMAX.gg are well known for their successful Counter-Strike 1.6 teams but have decided to expand into the Call of Duty series with this move.

"After a pretty short conversation and negotiation with Laqunalleh from teamxeq, we already got it all wrapped up" explained CMAX.gg manager Roald van Buuren. "It feels great to have teamxeq represending Team CMAX.gg and we hope they will be able to set their results forward under the CMAX tag, both online and offline" he went on to say.

Timo "Laqunalleh" Vasarainen welcomed the move, saying "they just gave us an opportunity we just couldn't pass by, as we really want to prove what we do at lan events... with the help of Team CMAX.gg that is possible". The team will debut at the Spectrum LAN in Finland in May and will be hoping to attend events across Europe in the coming months.
