Week two takes us to mp_citystreets, a land of explosible cars, fresh linens and the shiniest market trinkets around.
Although two matches still remain unplayed from week one, there is plenty to mention regarding the six that were played. For starters, MoB Gaming went head to head with Nexus in what is quickly shaping up to be a hard-nosed rivalry. NRv left the MoB side to rejoin his former nXs teammates while Muse found a home with MoB after being shuffled away by nXs. badFishLP himself had once been a part of nXs some months ago. Nexus scored round one in this ongoing battle in convincing fashion by a 16-8 final score. Elsewhere in the league we saw a recently reformed sinister club mop the floor with Seraphic 16-8. Evil Geniuses were in action hot off of their CEVO-Professional victory and matched wits with the talented Team Dynamic. The two battled into overtime where EG eventually prevailed 16-13.
The action does not slow down one bit as TGL advances to week two on mp_citystreets. As schedules are being made weekly based off of league records, there should be no shortage of excitement. This week we see Focal matching EG and it will be interesting to see what each team puts together. Dating all the way back to the FTF tournament, Focal has always been a thorn in the side of EG but perhaps that was reversed this past CEVO season when EG snuck by Focal 13-11 in the final week on mp_backlot. Another quality match pits Team Pandemic against Frag Dominant. Pandemic is looking to reassert themselves as the premier team in the nation while frag`dom would like to avenge their 16-8 CEVO loss at the hands of Pandemic. All eyes will also be on PHG to see if the can keep winning big as well as the sinister vs. nXs match in order to see if sinister is as strong as they might have you believe. The games are scheduled to get underway Thursday night so stick with GotFrag for all live score updates and future TGL-P coverage.
