Call Of Duty: Team Dynamic wins CEVO-Amateur

CEVO-Amateur comes to a close Thursday night when Dynamo Gaming goes head to head with Team Dynamic.
Less than a week ago, the first official top ten list for North American CoD4 was released and it included two teams from CEVO-Amateur. In an apparent validation of that list, the two CEVO-A finalists are none other than Dynamo Gaming and Team Dynamic. Dynamic are winners of the upper bracket where they trampled the competition throughout, only having one close match, a 13-11 win over Nefarious. Dynamo spent most of their time in the upper bracket as well, tossing aside Awakening, FireFighters, and Lossless. In the upper bracket final, these two powerhouses met on mp_crash and Dynamic sent Dynamo hard to the lower bracket 13-8.

Because CEVO does not follow normal double elimination protocol, all things are equal in the grand finals. After destroying Legacy in the lower bracket final to reach the grand championship finals, Dynamo find themselves on a level playing field with Team Dynamic. The CEVO-A champion will be decided over a best of three match. Presently, neither team has selected their map choice and the tiebreak map remains undetermined by CEVO. First place in CEVO-A nets a cool $900 while the second place team walks away with $562.50. Both clubs are registered and attending the June NERV LAN and are currently participating in TGL-Professional. They both have bright futures and a CEVO-Amateur championship can only help out further. Stick with GotFrag for map choice updates and live score coverage when the match goes live this Thursday night.

Update: Dynamic have selected mp_crash, Dynamo have selected mp_vacant, and the OT map, if necessary, is mp_citystreets.
