TGL takes us once more into the abandoned warehouse that apparently still keeps its twenty computers up and running.
Week three in TGL stuck to the mold set in weeks previous. There were extremely close battles, some less than thrilling blowouts, and even another forfeit. Starting with the first, EG snuck by with an extremely close victory for the third week in a row by scraping past PHG 13-11. Team Pandemic found themselves in an overtime struggle against Team Dynamic and they too were able to rise above and secure the match 16-12. Finally, seraphic found a team they could hang with and came out on top over makeSHIFT in overtime, 16-14. As hinted at previously, there were either great games or painful to watch routs this week, nothing in between. None of the other matches played were close, in particular, MoBgaming's 20-4 domination of Internal Revolution. The final game this week was awarded to Nexus by way of an uncharicteristic Dynamo forfeiture.
Week 4 looks to provide some of the best action yet. As invariably promised by the week to week scheduling system, we will finally see the two remaining undefeated clubs, EG and nXs, go head to head on mp_vacant. Other exciting matches this week showcase Pandemic against MoB, Dynamo against sinister, and the CEVO-A champions Dynamic against FocaL. The Dynamo map choice for the CEVO-A finals was mp_vacant where they won their only map of the night in convincing fashion 13-5. Whether Dynamo can play with the same intensity against sinister or if Team Dynamic have changed things around remain to be seen. The games are set to go live this Thursday night so leave it on GotFrag for live score updates throughout the week.
