Call Of Duty: Frag Dominant returns to CoD

By: Kyle Feeley - Published June 04, 2008 at 11:52 PM EDT - Writer Archive
The organization took a break from CoD after the breakup of their previous team but tonight announce a new and improved roster.
When Frag Dominant first acquired their original Call of Duty 4 division, nobody could have expected the success that lay ahead. The team entered CEVO-Professional and quickly became the last to remain undefeated. The successes of that team were short lived, however, as conflict between and among members led to one change after another which invariably resulted in team death shortly thereafter. Since then, Frag Dominant have been laying dormant in wait for another top caliber team to bring into the organization. The return of Alec "s1refrosty" Zurek from Australia has jumpstarted Frag Dominant's reentry as they have decided to pick up his new team which is a consolidated version of former Guardians and Frag`dom teams along with some new faces.

s1re and Brett have been playing together dating back to the 20id days in CoD2 where they share a handful of championships between themselves. Similarly, je$tlolk and masteralex have been on the same team together for years dating back to early CoD2. Then there is Holt, a player who was considered one of the best at a time when CoD2 was fairly new. He and s1refrosty played together on the strong Insomnia team and he made in appearance in CoD4 as part of Phoenix's LAN team. Finally, Benn1tt will be making his CoD debut while RayZer will join the roster as a backup. Since the team is new, they will not be immediately competing in the top competitive divisions automatically though it is likely we will see them in upcoming placement tournaments.
