Call Of Duty: OCZ group brackets near end

By: Kyle Feeley - Published June 09, 2008 at 1:56 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Two rounds remain in CEVO's OCZ tournament before the final eight advance to the grand championship bracket.
In a disappointing trend that has continued throughout CEVO's summer OCZ tournament, there have been equal amounts matches and forfeits. Now, in the tournament's fifth round, there is little difference. Of the eight scheduled lower bracket matches, four were played out while another four clubs forfeited their way out of the event. Additionally, each of the matches that were played ended up in blowout victories. Of course, as more and more teams find themselves exited from the event, the level of competition can only increase. Those defeated in the upper bracket final await the winner of wednesday night's matches on mp_crash. When all is said and done, two teams will advance out of each bracket with a shot at the grand championship. The grand championship bracket is scheduled to begin on June 18th.
