Even a perfect season cannot guarantee happiness. g|adia7or finds a new home with 50cal. After receiving the news that Templar was no longer enjoying himself and wanted to leave the team, 50cal had to act fast to fill up their roster before it started to hurt their practice schedule. The search did not last long as the team soon found the perfect fit in Josh “g|adia7or” Adams. Team leader Mike “jtf2” Empey elaborates: “After the sudden departure of our lover Daniel “templar” Jackson, the team was left with a big challenge - to find someone capable of filling temp’s shoes. We scrimmed with several top players, but none seemed to gel with us more than Gladiator. The team is thrilled to have a player with such top experience who fits in so well personality wise. With this pickup, we hope to solidify our #3 position in North America, and aspire to give Pandemic and EG a run for their money in CEVO Playoffs." Adams, perhaps best known for his many CoD2 successes, has had a rough time of it in CoD4 staying with a team for very long. Between Guardians, PHG, Nexus, SGT, and others, he has bounced around quite a bit. With 50calibre, however, he feels this may become a permanent residence. He explains: “After trying my luck with various North American teams I decided to look northward at my Canadian friends. None of them are fat and few are American. I’m hoping to play with these good looking people at some upcoming LANs, as well as any online leagues. They are very talented and have lots of french nades, which converts into wins.” Adams has already contributed to a pair of 50cal wins this week, perhaps he will help the team continue their undefeated ways in weeks to come. 50|cal.CoD4 would also like to give a big shoutout to our sponsors: Puretrak, Purevoice, Stealthservers, Seco Gaming and FPS Trainers.
