Call Of Duty: MoB Gaming welcome MasterAlex

Veteran competitor MasterAlex joins MoB Gaming following ChimPae's departure.
MoB Gaming, fresh off their disappointing fourth place finish at NVISION GeForce LAN this past week, have done some internal restructuring. As a collective, the team approached then leader Matt “ChimPae” Gomez and asked if he was willing to backup. Within minutes, Matt was detagged and looking for a team. With CEVO-Professional entering week 7, the end of regular season permanent roster locks are approaching quickly. Team member Andy “theimpaler” Coons explains: “After NVISION, we as a team decided it would be in our best interest to seek a new fifth. We offered ChimPae a backup roll with the team because we all considered him a close friend. Matt refused and decided to seek other options. We will all miss him and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”

Naturally, CEVO-P roster vacancies do not last particularly long. Today, MoB Gaming have announced the addition of Alex “MasterAlex” Solis to the roster. Alex had previously been competing in CEVO-P with LFS but, as he explains, things were not working out: “Although I would have liked to continue to play with LFS, not everything works out as planned. Between trying to find a suitable fifth and dealing with activity issues, the final straw for the team came when we were unable to find a sponsor to send us to the NVISION LAN after looking for three solid months. But like they say, a dead end street is a good place to turn around. With that I've decided to kick things off by joining the MoB Organization, where I plan to play out the remainder of the CoD4 competitive scene, and also move on to CoD5 if that’s where the majority of the community decides to go.” LFS are 6-2 currently in CEVO-P whereas MoB Gaming are 4-5, however, Alex’s reasons for making the move clearly revolve around other considerations. Regarding the announcement, Andy continues: “As a team we knew we needed a solid scope that could also rotate to any gun that was needed. Alex, a proven CEVO-P player, was just the man for the job. We welcomed him and are excited to get started with our new player.”

MoB are presently competing in CEVO-Professional and plan to attend the Gamestation LAN in New York.
