GotFrag talks with Eric "snatcch" Brinkley of pureEsports.

GotFrag sat down with Eric "snatcch" Brinkley, head of pureEsports for a chat about the upcoming GotFrag Call of Duty 4 Tournament.

Thanks for participating in this interview Eric. For starters, can you introduce yourself to our readers please?

I'm Eric Brinkley aka "snatcch", 21 years old, in sunny Northern California, and I am the leader of pureEsports.

Both fnatic and Coolermaster are in your quarter of the draw. What are your thoughts on the prospect of playing a European team for the first time, and as early as the third round?

I'm very excited, we get to play some teams we've never played before on an even playing field (even them playing us on an NYC will only be a difference of 50 ping or so). I'm sure we play a lot different style-wise than they're used to and vice-versa, so I think it will be a lot of fun =]

If you had to choose a dark horse for your quarter of the draw, who would it be and why?

I'm not too familiar with many of the teams inside of our bracket except for the Euro teams, so I'm going to assume that anyone in the bracket has a chance to win.

Your team had a close match against Pandemic last week in CEVO. What did you take away from that match, and how do you plan to overcome the giants of North America?

We made some necessary adjustments to our strats on both sides that worked to our advantage and adjusted our comms a little more to help us out. As for overcoming them, I suppose we're just going to have to prepare a little harder and have clean and positive comms come match time.

If you could pick any team to play in the finals, who would it be and why?

Pandemic no doubt; I suppose we feel like we need to pay them back for our week 1 loss :]
