Call Of Duty: Area 51 awakens

Area 51 starts early with their spring cleaning...

Since the end of the CEVO-Professional season, Team Backslash has been in a state of inactivity with players frzg, jtf2, and kpwnage uncertain of the status of their fellow teammates. With the rather dissapointing early exit out of CEVO-Open playoffs, Area51.CoD was confirmed a dead team as well.

Nuz from Area 51 quickly contacted jtf2 (ex-teammate from Dynamo) regarding their status. He was able to convince the trio to join up with him and darkk in rebuildling the Area 51 roster. It was decided that it would be in the best interest for both parties to merge under the Area 51 banner. As soon as darkk was able to be contacted regarding the situation he stated the following, "I never planned on playing competitively again but once the opportunity of playing with players of this caliber came up I figured we might as well end the game on a high note. Everyone on this team has the individual skill and experience needed to compete at a top level. I’m very excited about the next season and I’d like to thank Area51 for backing us 100%. Idle and Support #51!"

"Congratulations goes out to the soon to be married frzg, he will also be retiring (again) from the world of video games." -jtf2

The team is looking to compete in CEVO-P and TGL. They are also looking to pickup a 5th / 6th.
