GotFrag.com - The time has come for teams to battle it out for the remaining six spots in CEVO-Professional for Call of Duty 4. In the group of teams that are competing for the coveted spots, there are many new teams such as ThawkTech Gaming and Faction.

At the same time, there are 2 teams that competed in last season's pro division and have decided to come back for yet another attempt at the cash. Those are favorites focaL and the only team to have gone win less last season, Pantheon (ptL).

The format of this tournament will be that of double-elimination and will include arguably four of the most enjoyed maps in Call of Duty. mp_strike (round 1), mp_crash (round 2), mp_citystreets (round 3), and mp_backlot (round 4). The event will begin tonight and will continue until June 8th when the final round will be played.

Only 1 match was played early thus far and it was one that came down to the wire with focaL edging out Pantheon with a 16-14 score. Hopefully the rest of the matches during this event will bring more drama and casts from E-REV.tv
