This is Counter-Strike version 1.5. You can install this to view old demos that 1.6 will not support. [b]To install this you must have the original Half-Life installed.[/b] There are 2 files in the rar file. Install them in this order.
hl1110.exe
csv15full.exe

I remember when 1.5 was out how much people complained that it was too nub friendly and that we should go back to 1.3. Looking back we should have been happy with what we had because no one expected cs to get to worse.

To all of you whinegums,
every update of counterstrike that has come out and stayed for a long time, ex. 1.3 , 1.5 and 1.6 now, has always been there to improve the game. Valve nor Steam is responsible for the "bad" pc u are playing from. If u had 100fps in cs1.3 and now only 30fps in cs1.6 then u should update your machine, just like the gamemakers did with the game... The computer industry has grown a lot the last couple of years. Better, faster and amazing hardware have took over the market of the old voodoo graphic cards and the Pentium3 isnt the best cpu anymore if u didnt know that yet...
I also whined about stuff in the updates, like "erf that shield" or "ow G... I can't jump that fast anymore", "awp is slower" etc., but those things have only improved the game (except for the shield) in gameplay, and made it somehow a little bit more 'realistic'. I like the new textures in the maps like de_aztec or de_chateau. If all maps looked like de_dust, then the game would sAck!
So just stop making whining-pannecake-comments about the NEW things and update your machine to one of nowadays...
