Do you want to play the old cs version once again? Do you have an amazing cs 1.1/1.0-replay, which you cannot watch? The rewind cs-converter helps you, solve this problem. It converts your existing cs version into an old version, and back!
requirements:
-counterstrike mod-version (not! retail)
-the net famework

Notes from EXE staffer Skeith

You need an install of cs 1.5 (or any other version I assume, I just used 1.5)

1. Extract the contents of the zip to anywhere
2. Run the exe, point it to the hl.exe from the 1.5 directory
3. a menu pops up with covert to cs 1.x, select whichever version you want

Once you convert you can watch demos from that version, via SKplayer if you want. Now you can watch all the cool old school demos from 1.1 and 1.3 from your cs 1.5

Think it only works with the CD install of Half-Life, not Steam.

oh sure now you get it when i don't need it anymore :(

umm so it converts 1.6 into one of the old versions and back ? please can anyone explain ?

I heard you need retail to do this, which I don't have, which makes me cry. :(

1. This program just works with the MOD-version of CS. There is no support for the retail version yet.

Hehe #13, I read it after I downloaded it. But I still can't install 1.5 because I don't find the "correct" file for half-life. This is rediculous.
