Hello everyone, this is Timekeeper. I used to be in Pubmasters as you all know. I was both in the first and the second movie. Earlier today, I decided to kick everyone who idled #pubmasters, an event I do every other week or so. After numerous warnings from the leader Techwarrior (he produced the movie), he decided to deluser and addban me today. He even said to me "you should've waited to get your headset before kicking people" because we were getting icemat siberia headsets for the 2nd movie.
So without further delay, I present to you the true story of pubmasters. The original pubmasters was led by bustacap. However, after the first movie, techwarrior was unhappy with the clan and decided to pull a takeover. He became leader of the clan and channel on irc and from there, everything fell apart. He became power hungry, always wanting idlers and e-fame. This clan was no longer about fun. He wanted icemats and icemat headsets. I know because the 2nd movie release would give us headsets. So instead of using footage from our CAL matches, he decided to put his old movie clips, snorlax's movie clips, and FAKED footage into the movie. 50% of the movie is faked -- it was recorded in a private server with techwarrior and his fellow xi clanmates. Settings were changed so they could bunnyhop easier, etc, etc. The part where Hornsby says "NOT NOW DAWG" and I laugh and say something on the mic was completely staged -- I wasnt even there to fake it. A lot of clips from de_cpl_fire, de_infero, etc were staged. Did I mention he is no longer even on the pubmasters roster? The nuke defuse in Pubmasters 1 was a real clip but it was done on a private server with no enemies. If you want to know what else was staged and fake, just PM techwarrior... but he probably doesn't even know which clips are from matches because he played in a total of ZERO CAL matches.
Once upon a time, this clan was about fun. But techwarrior decided to take over and sold out for some 15 minutes of e-fame and a couple of computer accessories. Sad but true. Sorry to burst the bubbles of all the kids who looked up to us; although I don't know why you ever did. Zerosix was also banned and cut for not being on IRC enough and being WHITE, Squirrel was banned and cut for not telling us his real name and for doing bad in TWO scrims. Techwarrior even asked him to rejoin to fake more clips. Most of the remaining 'members' like snorlax, frailty, sheriff no longer play with the clan anyways. The clan is dead and has been for the past half year.
After showing Snorlax and Onslaught an almost complete project of PM2, he said, "Yea.. It's not as good as the first one, but we gotta do it. Ya know?" The only reason you "gotta do it" is if you're someone who wants to do it for e-fame and be a sellout. I hope you enjoy your icemat headsets Tech!!
techwarrior thinks he is good.. by putting clips of him doing good, and everyone else messing around... techwarrior YOU ARE BAD STAGE YOUR CLIPS EVEN EWW AND PUBMASTERS2 WAS HORRIBLE!
we suggested to tech to at least put ALL real cal match clips. he was going to replace his tech2 scenes with other cal match clips and release it on 9/10 -- that was the "special" release, but it never happened
i think it would help if you removed #pubmasters from your sig.. but thats just me :/ btw the movies did seem a little fishy but either way they were entertaining..
oh yea if you download techwarrior2 half that movie is in pubmasters2 -__-
indeed a great dissapointment....would of been funny if all the clips are true....but the imaginaiton of all of them faking in a private server just to get some attention hurts :(
