What's the advantage of using left-handed alignment with right, unless it's just more comfortable? I started with right, as everyone does, so it's more comfortable, but does left-handed help in other ways?
I take it since you joined this site..this month, that you don't realize that anything that feels comfortable or doesn't is in your head. never look at a pro and think " hes using left, i will and i will become pro " You use whatever you feel maybe..looks and feels better.
There are no advantages or disadvantages to left and right. they are both the same.
personally i use left, alot of people use binds so that when they strafe right, the gun switches to the right, and vice versa, but in reality NOTHING changes.
Ah, okay thanks. I've heard about the going around a corner or strafing thing, but I've tried it and it makes absolutely no difference. I was just wondering if cs handled them different.. though it wouldn't make sense for it to, so I'll stay with what I'm on.
the crosshair stays in the middle of the screen so i dunno what it would change. i never played lefthanded so it looks weird to me. think it's about to what you got used to. #2 thats crazy ^^
I use right and yes my left eye dominates so i have the left side of my screen open, it just feels more comfortable and seems like I have more capabilities.
I use right but I can use left hand to... not a difference except for awping it just feels bad having an awp in the left hand I cant quick scope or even running with the awp makes me run like a noob just cant do it so i use right
#1 just go with what your comfortable with. Like you i began playing right handed (only started playing the game through source) and was thinking the same thing, so .... i switched to left just to see if anything changed, and i got worse. Just felt uncomfortable and uneasy at all times and this was just another obstacle so after playing with it for about a week i switched back. Right handed FTW!
#20 is right, dominance helps, personally my left eye is more dominant (is this correct sp?) than my right eye. Therefor i use left handed, i started off with right handed aswell, and it was odd when i changed to left handed, about a big month ago, since then...well i cant say it in any other way, my aiming has improved
wasnt there a thread / post about saying if youre right handed in real life it should be better to use left handed models cause the primative eye you have is the right and vice versa?
