reverti_training is kinda amusing for at least a few minutes to work on flick shots if you put it on fast it actually helps a little. scrims are still the best tho
I just practice aim vs csdm podbots on knife mode its fun :) you can just practice aim because they like strafe around with there knife out so there going full speed and strafing which no1 does so its alright I guess i just dont like playing cs bots because they prefire me and its stupid.
bots are bad though lol. This is a bad method it wont help you. Play deathmatch, as it's fast paced and you'll get use to making reaction shots. And then practice when playing wars [obviously]by finding awp places and etc. Bots, will not help an inch.

#13, actually bots do help, and alot of pros will tell you this... as far back as vesselan's training methods. I personally like podbots - knife only - 20-30 bots - highest level
play with bot_difficulty "5" (all the time) shots are most of the time ... bs, but it definitely makes you play with more caution and makes you more of an aggressive player. btw patience is a good thing.

zbots feel different from normal gameplay.. i get like all headshots vs them... but with podbots it feels different and u do not get a delay in awp when u play against zbots......

the biggest difference in play doesn't come through how you train, but from your mindset when your at it.
Most players play passively, as if they were running cs automatically, leaning back, and letting their reflexes and aquired habits do the aiming and moving for them, without actively thinking. What you should try to do is lean forward, and instead of letting your reflexes flick your wrist when the enemy comes around a corner, you should actively carry out the process in your mind.
I've come to distinguish between playing actively and playing passively quite easily, and I've noticed that when I play passively any sort of aim training I carry out doesn't seem as productive, because your not consciously working with the mind processes that make your game better.
People saying they don't help are lost as hell. How wouldn't it? It doesn't give you realistic situations on holding/taking sites but pushing/going across the map, your reaction shots, flick shots as someone peeks out, etc. are realistic and bots do just that.
zbots are lame... I downloaded them and tried 1v5 on difficulty 4 and it wasn't even that hard. I heard that zbots have aimbot-like reflexes when put on the hardest difficulty (bot_difficulty_4?). I honestly didn't find them very hard. I was playing aim_map_usp and doing pretty well. I'm not even good.
Play ALOT with only awp and knife. This will help your shot selection in terms of how hard of shots you should take or if you should retreat and take a diff angle. In terms of aim..yeah alot of csdm w/ awp/knife only again and quickscoping :p
a lotta time should just be spent practicing lining up spots so when u pop around a corner u can just shoot instead of having to pull some insane reaction shot against another awper standing there waiting for u to come out
#34 u said what i want to say exactly..... i have seen ppl outsmart bots... i mean they should try to put themselves in situtations with bots which they would be more likely to run in a real scrimm. it does help. and csdming against 20 bots is as good as csdming against anyone, if u ask me. cause u will die more than u do against human.

i trained awp in fy_pool_day :)
Its just a mode to make CS act more as a fragers places than the real game but benifits for weapon practise and wamr ups.
