tiesto has a lot of good songs...just download some cd's off torrents or something...but it depends i mean not just techno u can find some good trance/dance/house songs..i mean ppl that like techno prob would like that stuff too, at least i do =P

"Techno" = lol. I mean, the existence of the term itself seems to want to group an enormous amount of extremely diverse artists together under one gross category--seemingly implying that anything made digitally, with programmed drums, etc., is "techno". I guess one could argue that, when one says "techno", they're referring mainly to mainstream trance or house, a la DJ Tiesto, Sasha, Paul Van Dyk; or perhaps they mean stuff like you'd find on _The Matrix_ soundtracks, like Prodigy--I guess that's what constitutes "techno" to most people. If that's indeed what you're looking for, then by all means, I wish you luck in your quest to find something of depth and value there. But, in all honesty, the chances of that happening are quite slim (although things like Sasha's _Involver_ and, to a lesser extent, Paul Van Dyk's _Out There and Back_, are at least making some attempt to push beyond the _generic_ and _cliched_).

But if you really want to explore some incredible electronic music--music that truly is groundbreaking, epic, progressive, exciting, evolutionary, and not bound to cliches... look into:
