That's my waypoints folder, it has a LOT of maps included...so if you want to play your terrible strange custom maps, maybe it will have it. But it has all of the basic USA League maps (post #54 has cpl_strike waypoints).

After the extraction is complete, the bots and csdm will work for windows users. To access the bot menu ingame, hit =. I'd suggest filling the server with the lowest skill bots and allowing them to use any weapons. If you put them on knife mode, they all just cluster up in a knife fest.

This is a great way to warm up and practice your aim, but NOT to simulate real online play. So don't expect anything special from these bots. They suck and you WILL trash on them. Take it for what it is, not what you're dreaming for.

and hit yes when it asks you to replace any files

bullshyt bots you have there

those headshot mode bots are the best with pb_aim_type 1 ... they have the best aimbot.... better than csdming against noobs

visit a-gaming.ru - there nasty csdm bot pack i a way bettar than killing noobs

i'm going to try and get it to work with better bots later, but this is good enough for now. i just wanted things to shoot at, i don't care how good or realistic they are.

DM servers are better if u can find a gud one, when u play vs Bots u are the host of the server and u dont have a ping at all and when i play on a server i ping around 30 - 40 and theres a considerable difference between those 2.

The reason i use GF is to achieve 4 nerd stars and look E-cool.

I made this because sometimes my internet goes out completely, or I ping 400+ to ALL online servers. The internet connection at my dorm is unreliable because usually 350+ students are on it at a time.

I'm gonna try to get them to work with Z-Bots but last time I tried this DM/BOTs thing back in 2006 the Zbots wouldn't work correctly.

The PODBots/CSDM is still getting 30+ downloads a week.
Just thought I'd revive this thread for people who may have missed it.

It's a great way to warm up. I still do it before I scrim everyday. I just toss 15 bots in a server and practice my shooting and aiming for a few minutes.

Another Edit: I found another download for the CSDM+PODBots because some kid was nice enough to just download it and reupload it 4 days after I did under his filefront account.

Another Edit: This isn't for realism or anything. Strictly warming up. The Bots run around like idiots and miss a LOT of shots ... but that's not why I have the CSDM/Bots ... only to warm up my aim before I play.

Are you guys running WindowsXP or Windows Vista?

I've never tried them on Vista. I've redownloaded this pack and freshinstalled them plenty of times in order to make sure they still work, and they still do.

To install them you have to download the .rar and drag them directly into:
C:\ Program Files\ Steam\ steamapps\ email address \ counter-strike\ cstrike

They should work without any problems if you've done this.

If you've got an addons folder already installed in your cstrike directory just delete it and then install the CSDM/PODBot pack.

#23 if you can link me to some newer bots then I'll try and get them to work with CSDM.
ZBots don't work, so don't link me to those. I've spent weeks and well over 10 hours trying to get ZBots to work ... I've never gotten CSDM2.0 and ZBots to work together :/
I don't play the bots for realism though, just to warm up my aim. They could stand still & I wouldn't matter all that much.

I recommend editing your:
C:\ Program Files\ Steam\ steamapps\ username/email \ counter-strike\ cstrike\ addons\ amxmodx\ configs\ csdm.cfg

About 70% down you'll find:

This restricts CSDM to just HE Grenades. Just add sf after h to enable smokes and flashes.

I'm having the cs crashing problem.

I used to have this work perfectly, now, no matter what, I can't get it to work. i've tried just about every way, fresh installs, drag and drop from the rar, copying diretly to my hard drive THEN copying to cstrike, with different guis, both yours and tensionz's, and i can't get it to work at all anymore.

Not really sure how you help you out ... your problem is pretty vague ... You don't have any other bots installed do you?
Try to defrag your CS folder.
Right click counter-strike on your games list
go to properties
local files
defrag

Maybe something non-related to the CSDM is corrupted? Verify integrity of the files after you defrag

I have a CPL Winter 2004 GUI installed (the one with the green background) and I've never had a problem with it.

tensionz's csdm/podbots are the same as mine .. he just reuploaded them on his filefront

nvm, deleted the liblist, created a new game, installed the liblist again and it worked.

Okay. I figured out how to fix it. I'm @ a lan right now and installed the podbots and csdm to warm up and it was crashing. Sooooooo, i started to fvck around and fixed it.

Delete your 'liblist.gam'
Start a new CS server
Quit the server
Edit 'liblist.gam'
Change gamedll "dlls\mp.dll" to gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"

You're good to go.

zbots don't work with CSDM2.0. It's impossible, and I've never tried it with another version of CSDM, i don't care enough. This is just for warming up, not simulating actual CSDM Pub playing.

at gigabits orlandao today nvrx said he loves them, so if that makes your meat hard (or doesnt) you should give these a wack. they're great for warmin up your aim.
and everybody @ lan who was on a computer used them to warm up before the first matches got started. it's good stuff.

sv_maxrate 20000

What else should I put in console to optimize the server?

If you're running a lan server there isn't really anything that you need to do to optimize it... it doesnt get better than a lan server .. especially if you're the host.

Can anybody make waypoints for custom maps like russka, forge, strike, mill, fire and stuff ? That's be amazzzzzzzzzzing.

Extract all the waypoints into your addons/podbots/wptdefault folder. overwrite anything that it asks you to overwrite.

I think that in most of the new custom map waypoints i just discovered on the interwebs the bots will spawn at their spawns only ... it kind of sucks and you might end up spawn camping them .. but ohwell. if you wait a little bit and then play maybe it'll be alright. better than nothin

CPL Fire has random spawns. It's good ^^
