Even if you believe this theory it has nothing to do with the end of the world in a physical sense. We are just moving out of the Age of Pisces (the fish sign, era of god) into the Age of Aquarius.
mayans said predicted that date by our solar rotations. "how they figured out remains unknown". that convinced me that its probably wrong because people dont know how they figured out the sciences of the galaxy so the mayans probably just got lucky on their prediction.
