I was just wondering since I just recently purchased a LCD, what is the standard professional settings now for LCD setup, advanced color settings in nvidia and brightness/contrast settings on the actual LCD monitor? Any input would be greatly appreciated :)
i mean like a lot of players had to adjust to lcd's from crts for professional tourneys and i was wondering if any of you that follow all that stuff would know.. usually there is a gotfrag wizard out there that knows all this stuff, i am just waiting till he posts ;)
#10 honestly i'm pretty sure you'll answer your own question by experimenting and finding what you like just like you'll have to learn a new res unless you like widescreen bars.

Well I have done exactly what you said 11 and 12, which is quite ironic, but funny at the same time. If anyone is reading this and wants a quick way around what I was asking, below I will list what I have set if you feel like trying it.
Monitor MENU Settings:
Brightness/Contrats: 100% Gamma: 0 Preset Color: 6500K H/V size: 50% Sharpness: 5 Refresh Rate: 75Hz (used reforce, which can be downloaded on gotfrag's site)
Below is a image of the color settings I use as well for NVIDIA Drivers:
i switched to LCD about a year ago...maybe like 9mo.
i have the viewsonic vx922...the same monitors all esport services tourneys use (torbull's company)
i left the contrast/brightness on the lcd at default (they're not maxed, screen so bright anyway)
i have a 7800gt w/ 93.71 forceware and use digi vibrance, no vsync, 101 brightness, 102 contrast, .95 gamma -- high quality image setting, no AA and 16AF. doesn't get any more pro than that ;)

TBH ninja, LCD suck in comparison to CRT Monitors. Ive had 2 LCD monitors both with 75hz refresh im currently using a 21" Viewsonic. Going from 100 refresh to 75 is completely going to brutalize your recoil and how weapons react , or atleast how you see it. Nothing will fix that, and it effects all first person shooters where you need to control recoil. Outside of that, they are great for WOW,Warcraft,Videos, etc because of the color, but performance end is blaaaaah. =(
